A look around the league and the web that covers it. It’s also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren’t always listed in order of importance. That’s for you, dear reader, to figure out.

After being nudged in the ribs by Captain Planet Steve Nash, the Phoenix Suns announced that they plan to use solar panels for power at the US Airways Center next season. From the Arizona Republic: "The new photovoltaic system will consist of more than 1,100 panels and be installed on the fifth level of the center’s parking garage at First and Madison streets in downtown Phoenix. At 194 kilowatts, it will produce enough energy to reduce the team’s power usage by the equivalent of 26 home games each season, Suns General Manager Steve Kerr said." Nice. Maybe they can redirect that saved energy to help power Shaq. Or better yet, slap a solar panel on his chrome dome and rip the roof off the arena. Arizona gets a lot of sun, right?

And the fun continues with this classic Nike commercial featuring a "retired" Jor— I mean, Motorboat Jones and Johnny Killroy. (I am so naming my kids that.)

Whoa! Was that Harold Miner? Baby Jordan lives!

I hear Tinsley’s nameplate has been taken down inside the lockerroom at Conseco Fieldhouse. There’s a chance, albeit a very slight one, that they could change their thoughts on the situation if they can’t find a team to trade Tinsley to and he decides he’ll agree to a buyout that’s less than the $21 million he’s owed." Poor guy. Next thing you know he’s going to show up for practice, and they won’t give him any shorts.

The OKC NBA franchise unveiled its new Thunder logo and colors at a press conference in Oklahoma City yesterday. Pictured (L-R) behind the Thunder starting line-up and future Sixth Man of the Year (the kid in the glasses) are Clay Bennett, chairman, P.J. Carlesimo, head coach, Damien Wilkins and Desmond Mason, ballers, and Sam Presti, general manager. Best caption/conversation wins a real NBA logo.

After the jump, Vince bends it like Beckham.
